Many of us crave a chance to experience the greenery of the world again. From lush forests to verdant mountains, the botanical beauty of nature is almost irresistible. One thing that we miss about our previous adventures is the feeling of tranquility and peace that comes from immersing oneself in the natural world. Welcome to this week’s Travel Tuesday blog.

This week, we’ve got a wonderful selection of photos in store for you, gathered from the great galleries of Instagram. We’ve got lush mountains, vivid skies, and so much more for you to feast your eyes on.

Ready? Let’s go!

Our first pick of the week belongs to @trevorallenvision, presenting a scenic view of Ngorongoro in Tanzania. The way the clouds cast deep shadows over the plains feels almost mystical, the stark white of the shapes above contrasting with the earthen hues of the ground below. Ngorongoro must be quite stunning to visit.

Next up is @andresvane’s magnificent shot of a river vale in Sabanalarga. Here we see a slightly angled viewpoint that gives a dynamic edge to this landscape photo. We’re loving the ridges of the mountains that flank this river, the textured faces of these natural landmarks beautifying the landscape.

@svet_pod_palcom presents a ruminative image of the Acropolis in Lindos, Greece. The Acropolis is the most fortified part of an ancient Greek city, and the fact that this one endured after many centuries speaks much about its architectural might. The blankness of the sky really highlights all the little details of this monument.

@leknbc showcases the beauty of a sunset along the Mekong River, in the city of Chiang Mai. The golden rays of a setting sun can really turn any place in the world into a piece of art. Here the small boat near the grassy shores evokes a sense of nostalgia and melancholy, the only sign of humanity in a place of serenity and light.

Our final pick of the week belongs to @shayluv5280, presenting a nice view from Glacier National Park. Here the sun has yet to set, but still holds a significant presence in the environment, its yellowish shape contrasting with the crisp, light blues of the sky and mountains. The way the distant clouds look almost faded, along with the carefully rippling waters, remind us of a pleasant summer day, a time of peace and relaxation.

That’s it for this week. Be sure to visit us next week for a fresh batch of great photos to admire and be inspired by. When it’s safe for you to travel again, why not showcase your own adventures?
