Sometimes, the feeling of a new week only kicks in on the second day. A Monday may be herald a new set of seven days, but it’s on Tuesday that we shake off the rest of the weekend and get ourselves pumped for the duties of the week ahead. For us, fresh vegan cuisine and great travel imagery inspire us immensely in our daily work. What inspires you? Welcome to this week’s Travel Tuesday blog.

This week, we’ve compiled 5 great travel photos by the folk of Instagram, showcasing locales and destinations that convey great colors, hues and emotions, like paintings of an Impressionistic style. We know that you may have been itching to explore the world, but until it’s safe to do so, let’s appreciate the Earth’s best destinations via photos.

Ready to explore? Let’s go!

A beautiful day in Oia, Greece, is it not? @pepetteenvadrouille presents this great shot of the titular coastal city, built upon the cliffs with white stone that gives it such a distinct vibe and feel. There’s something so charming about coastal towns, from the ones at home to the ones located far away. Would be nice to visit it someday.

@travel_diary123 presents a lovely aerial shot of a waterfall in Iceland, a place that, despite its name, has plenty of green and verdant landscapes that provide beautiful subjects for photos like this. Here we see the waterfall from a bird’s eye view, making its majesty resemble a simple stream. However, there’s still no denying how vivid and well-textured it is, alongside the mountains, clouds and grassy plains about it.

This shot of the Sea Caves in Ayia Napa, Cyprus belongs to @wanderlust_abenteuer, and here we see the beauty of clean water, unperturbed and surrounded by natural rocks. The shot of this photo resembles a window, peeking into a pool that seems to glow with how blue it is. The best tourist destinations, in our opinion, are the ones that retain their natural features in spite of the many people visiting them.

The vast mountains of Glacier National Park look astounding, thanks to @elle.dubbleyou’s great wide shot. Here the valley between the slopes looks shadowed in comparison to the free blue sky above, while the mountains themselves, speckled in snow, look like perfect spots for hiking or climbing. Some of us have been yearning to go on exhilarating travel expeditions once this pandemic is over, and mountaineering seems like a good fit. Have you considered any post-pandemic travel plans?

And here we sign off with another glorious sunset shot! @seb_nehme presents this beautiful shot of a sunset at Smith Cove, in the Cayman Islands. There’s something so magical and painting-like in the colors and hues of a sky at the end of the day, with yellows and oranges mixing with the melancholic purple of the coming night. Ah, what a sight.
