The world was ready for luxurious vegan travel, from land tours to vegan cruises, but while such adventures have been delayed the world is slowly opening itself up. Plus, we’ve got a great source of beautiful photos to rekindle your sense of wonder and adventure. Welcome to this week’s Travel Tuesday blog.

This week, we’ve got some great photos in store for you, gathered from the galleries of Instagram’s dedicated adventurers. We’ve got grassy cliffs, bountiful valleys, and so much more for you to see.

Ready? Let’s go!

Our first pick of the week belongs to @walsphotogallery, presenting a serene snapshot of the Kuang Si Waterfall in Laos. This three-tiered waterfall looks quite mystical in this particular photo, a cascade of white slowly descending towards a calmer body of water. The roar of a waterfall in a lush green place is so soothing, but this image will also do.

Next up is @sherlockthepuppynz’s immersive shot from Raurimu, a view that makes us feel like we’re among the trees themselves. We quite enjoy photos that put us in the middle of the environment. In this case, we can see the leaves in the foreground and the distant yet majestic mountains in the foreground. Watching the sunrise or sunset in this place must be amazing.

Nothing screams “wine region” like these sloping hills in the Douro Valley, courtesy of @cismeira.douro’s great photo. Here we see row upon row of vines being grown, to be made into exquisite wine and port enjoyed all over the world. That’s one reason why we love cruising through rivers compared to oceans because in the open waters, you won’t find an idyllic sight like this.

@mr_jimmype presents this magnificent shot of Golden Bridge in Vietnam. These carved stone hands have endured both heavy rains and intense sunlight, as evident by its discolored hue. Despite this, it continues to lift up the walkway without issue or serious wear and tear. Enduring in spite of the intensity of the world around you is something to be admired.

Our final pick of the week belongs to @blueflankervol2, presenting this vivid green photo of the Kallur Lighthouse. Here, we see the actual building dwarfed by the sheer size and magnificence of the natural world around it, from the thick mists above to the muted yet vivid hue of the grassy slope surrounding it. Can you see that pathway leading towards the building? Just imagine yourself striding through this locale, the glory of the natural world surrounding you.

That’s it for this week, be sure to visit us next week for a fresh batch of great travel photos to admire and be inspired by. When it’s safe for you to travel again, why not showcase your own adventures?
