Despite everything, the world is still a place of beauty and life. While we can’t visit many of its great locales, we can still admire them through photos and videos. One day, when it’s all clear outdoors, we’ll visit these great places, basking in the most wondrous vistas that nature has to offer. Welcome to this week’s Travel Tuesday blog!

This week, we’ve got quite a selection in store for you, gathered from the galleries of the great folk of Instagram. We’ve got cliffs, rivers, and so much more to show you.

Ready? Let’s go!

Our first pick of the week belongs to @dr.rafacerverabud, showcasing the bountiful green beauty of Hawaii’s Waimanu Valley. This vast tropical landmark makes the green bushes and trees look like moss upon the stone, the effect of a bird’s eye view. While it’s beautiful from looking at it from far away, we wonder what it’s like to be up close to it.

@pannaka25 presents a gorgeous shot of Guinness Lake. Here we see the contrasting hues and textures of the lands on either side of the lake, from the vibrant grassy hillside of the foreground to the dim, muted colors of the land in the background. The lake itself presents an enigmatic face, with a surface like a sheet of glass that betrays no sight of the depths below.

Bask in the beauty of Kalamata, via @ulrichwrabetz’s scenic snapshot of the great Greek locale. The tiered seats of this waterside view are just so homey, plus the stony surface of the buildings give it a sense of weight. We adore the placement of the greenery in this vivid slice of Kalamata, a glimpse into the colorful architecture of the locale. We wonder what the rest of the city looks like.

The cliffs of Etretate in Normandy look splendid, courtesy of @lilie_joy. The pale white stone makes the whole landmass look like a single marble slice, looming over the bay and its crisp clean waters. Diving from such a height seems questionable, but the wonder of gazing upon both the clean sea and the urban space beyond the cliffs isn’t.

Our final pick of the week belongs to @calebsandoz, presenting a stunning view of a river in Thingvellir National Park. Iceland never fails to impress now, doesn’t it? Here we see a gorgeous waterway as it slices through the rough plain, a shimmering line of blue that cuts through the warm colors of the earth. We can only imagine the temperature of this place. We wonder what it would be like to sit near its banks.

That’s it for this week. Be sure to visit us next week for a fresh batch of great photos to admire and be inspired by. When it’s safe for you to travel again, why not showcase your own experiences?
