We dream of visiting the most beautiful corners of the world on our vegan holidays. Whenever you visit a place, you leave a part of yourself behind, a sense of the past that lingers where you set your feet. In return, a part of the place you visited remains within you, a memory that connects you to that place long after you’ve returned to your home. Welcome to this week’s Travel Tuesday blog.

This week, we’ve got a great collection of photos to present you, gathered from the galleries of the great folk of Instagram. We’ve got castles, waterfalls, and so much more to show!

Ready? Let’s go!

Our first pick of the week belongs to @whereintheworld7, showcasing a gorgeous view of Angel’s Landing in Zion National Park. This particular shot encompasses the great scope of the hills and valleys of this park, with high cliffs that surround lush fields. The best national parks are places that take your breath away, and Angel’s Landing does not disappoint.

Next up is a scanning shot taken by @vagabond1970 of Landshut Castle in Bernkastel. This stony structure was once inhabited by archbishops for the summer season, but a fire wrecked it and it has remained abandoned since. Nowadays, it’s used as a lookout to see the gorgeous view of the surrounding landmarks and valley. Each castle of Europe really has a unique tale to tell.

@capriush presents a serene and somber view of Chorrillo del Santo, a waterfall in El Chalten. The grayish overcast of the environment adds to the atmosphere of the place. Coupled with the vibrant red leaves contrasting with the stark white cliffs, this waterfall locale looks quite stark and serious, a placid destination for a future hiking tour of the area.

Another castle graces our gallery this week, this time via @nadeje.bds’ scenic shot of Chateau de Bruniquel. Here this ancient historical monument sticks out of the lush green landscape like a stone, beneath roiling gray clouds that enhance the green hue of the landscapes that surround its form. The image of a castle beneath storm clouds is striking.

Our final pick of the week belongs to @pokoonhontas.film, presenting a gorgeous and scenic photograph of the Jomblang Cave in Indonesia. From within the dark confines of the underground chamber itself, the light of the sun outside becomes like starlight, rays upon rays of illumination cutting through the dark light blades. There are places in the world where people feel a sense of infinite, connection to the bigger picture of the world as a whole. This may just be a hole in a cave, but it feels so much more than that. We would love to see it up close one day.

That’s it for this week. Be sure to visit us next week for a fresh collection of photos to admire and be inspired by. When it’s safe for you to travel again, why not showcase your own expeditions? Just add the hashtags #TravelTuesday and #VacationingVegan, and who knows, maybe your photos will be featured in a future blog!
