We’re gearing up for our upcoming vegan tours when the world recovers in the near future, but until then, we can still do our part by staying at home. However, that doesn’t mean that you should let your sense of adventure fade away. Keep it alive by remembering the great places that you want to visit in the future. Welcome to this week’s Travel Tuesday blog!

This week, we’ve got a great gallery in store for you, gathered from the collections of the illustrious people of instagram. We’ve got stones, streams and so much more to show you.

Ready? Let’s go!

Our week begins with a magnificent shot of Cathedral Rock by @abbyhuenemeyer, a vividly-colored set of windswept stones behind a serene, cloudless sky. The contrast between the placid yet sparsely-detailed sky with the roiling stony earth feels peaceful. It must feel awesome to watch the landscape while sitting on that cliff.

@pintandosenderos presents a shot of Los Alisos waterfall in Tafi del Valle. Rivers all over the world often lead to waterfalls, and the height and scope of such cascading waters is quite varied. This particular waterfall has a sense of squashed distance, making it seem smaller than it actually is. One wonders what it’s like to hear its roaring cascade up close.

Our next pick belongs to @ayu_karina_keiko, presenting Indonesia’s Prambanan Temple, the largest Hindu temple in the country. This great religious structure captures the sense of depth and scale that the ancient people of Java viewed the world, a cosmology set into the very stones of the temple itself. The fact that it endured through all these years, despite eruptions and earthquakes, is quite amazing.

@alecgerard_ presents a serene and silent spot Waimea Valley, a pond surrounded by various hues of green. There are many places like this in Hawaii, all unique and natural and far away from conventional walkways used by humans. The red-leafed plant in the foreground really makes this photo work, vivid warm color to contrast with all the greens.

Our final pick of the week belongs to @timreedphotography, showcasing a field of lavender in Jardines de Provenza, Guatemala. The mountain in the foreground gives a sense of distance to this photo, while the faint points of purple from the lavenders in the field below look like a soothing pattern, a natural canvas. We can almost hear the wind blow through this sunlit place, a picturesque locale that would be fit for a personal getaway.

That’s for this week, be sure to visit us next week for a fresh batch of wonderful photos to admire and be inspired by. When it’s safe for you to travel again, why not showcase your own photos? Just add the hashtags #TravelTuesday and #VacationingVegan on your future vegan food photos, and who knows, maybe you’ll be featured in a future blog!
