Look forward to great culinary cruises in the future, because if there’s one thing that keeps us going, it’s the promise of a better tomorrow. Welcome to this week’s Travel Tuesday blog!

This week, we’ve got great photos in store for you, taken by the great adventurers of Instagram. We’ve got islands, waterfalls and more in store for you, a visual feast of wondrous locales that can make your time cruising online feel more lively.

Ready? Let’s go!

Our first pick of the week belongs to @maartenkost, showcasing a gorgeous sunrise in Kinderdijk, the Netherlands. Just look at how the radiance of the dawn colors the sky, accenting the solemn beauty of the lone windmill in the photo. The snow, despite its uniform hue, actually makes the photo more amazing, making the luminous sky more vibrant in comparison. Absolutely amazing.

Nighttime already? Well, @lasvegasbeautiful’s photo remains a colorful and vivid photo despite it’s relative darkness. The Seven Magic Items stand out against the faded points of distant stars, while civilization is reduced to a small line along the horizon. We’ve described a lot of photos as dreamlike before, but this one perfectly captures the surreal yet memorable vibe of the places we visit in our sleep.

@aleber.91 presents this wondrous sprawl of lush greenery and cascading water. Plitvice Nacionalni Park truly looks majestic, with deep marine water and vibrant plantlife. Oh, to walk that wooden pathway and experience the wonders of the park first hand, basking in the beauty of nature up close.

@faracarrentaliceland presents a scenic cliff from the Faroe Islands. Here, the scope of the thrashing white sea and the enduring black stone seems less distant than other photos of its kind. It’s as if the crashing waves are very near, the whole image collapsing distances and making everything feel close.

Our final pick of the week belongs to @chalee_01, presenting a breathtaking shot of Khampangphet in Thailand. Here we see several complimenting environmental setpieces, namely the waterfall, the flowing pond, and the orange leaves. Together, they provide a sense of motion and continuity to the image despite its stillness, providing a sense of life to a photo from far away.

That’s it for this week. Be sure to visit us next for a fresh batch of great photos to admire and be inspired by.
