The New Year’s comedown may still be in effect for some of us, but in time, we can shake off those 2020 vibes and get down to making 2021 a truly wonderful year for us. We’re quite stoked for the chance to go on vegan river cruises again. How about you? What are you stoked about for 2021? Welcome to this week’s Travel Tuesday blog!
This week, we’ve got a great gallery prepared for you, a wondrous bunch of photos that remind us of the cool, fresh air that awaits all of us in the future, when it’ll be safe to explore the Earth once more. We’ve got mountains, waterfalls and other great locales for your viewing pleasure.

Ready? Let’s go!

Let’s begin the week with a gorgeous view of the Latrabjarg Cliffs, courtesy of @tluziphoto. There are three main parts of this photo, namely the rough cliffs themselves, the windswept blue waters, and the distant pinkish skyline. All of them together form a landscape image that’s both cool and vast in scope, and also warm and almost familiar.

Gaze upon the misty slopes of the Glencoe Highlands. @misshappywanderer’s photo presents a truly atmospheric piece of the Scottish environment, a bright green place that partially obscures the golden sunlight with must. Images like this really give a sense of otherworldly wonder to the places outside our homes.

@walsphotogallery presents this stark shot of Mt Fitzroy, a pale collection of rocky heights clad in a thick white blanket of snow. From such a distance, this mountain looks vaguely like a collection of raised hands and palms, a beige set of limbs raised towards a cloudless sky. Some mountains are lush, some mountains are bare, and some mountains are colored by the cold weather of its surroundings. Such is Mr. Fitzroy.

Now for someplace lush. @m_martins76 presents the serene beauty of the Kuang Si Waterfall, a great location in Luang Prabang. Here we see another wondrous natural vista of trees surrounding a dynamic body of water, a cascade of rushing water as it pools in the waters below. We miss the sound of waterfalls. What locale do you miss visiting?

Our final pick of the week belongs to @vrp_photos, presenting the snowy slope of Mount Teide, a volcano in Spain and the highest point of that country. Here we see a forested set of slopes that lead towards the main mountain, the green of the trees coated by the white of snow. The cool colors of this place contrast with the knowledge of its status as a volcano, and the bright reds and oranges hidden in the earth below it. A great image shows you both a surface identity, along with a deeper, more subtle image underneath.

That’s it for this week. Be sure to visit us next week for a fresh batch of great photos from all over the world. When it’s alright to travel far and wide again, why not showcase your own photos in the future? Just add the hashtags #TravelTuesday and #VacationingVegan on your upcoming IG travel photos, and who knows, maybe they’ll be featured in a blog some day!

We’ve got great expeditions ahead, aboard vegan cruises and on vegan national parks tours. Check out our VCC Adventures page for more information.
