2020 is almost over, and the next year will hopefully give us more vegan travel opportunities than we did in the past few months. Despite our circumstances, we’re still here, and we still have a tomorrow full of potential to look forward to. Welcome to this week’s Travel Tuesday blog!

This week, we’ve got a whole gallery of great photos to present to you, snapshots of breathtaking vistas and locales taken by the good folk of Instagram. We’ve got stunning mountains, beautiful waterfalls and more in store for you in the last Travel Tuesday blog for this year.

Ready to explore? Let’s go!

Our first pick belongs to @walsphotogallery, showcasing a serene, almost lounging mountain from Ushuaia National Park. The colors of the environment lend well to a relaxing vibe, with the varying hues of blue providing a pleasant color palette to contrast with the brush-like bushes below. Truly a stirring photo.

@_paulgrant_ presents a vivid and haunting shot of the old church in Bokor Mountain, Cambodia, a lone structure amidst the mist and trees around it. The French occupied Cambodia long ago, leaving behind lasting impressions on both the land and the culture of the country. This solitary place of worship has been abandoned long ago, but even now it continues to be a distinct feature of the area.

How many waterfalls have you seen this year? Well, if you’ve been following us, you might have seen more than your fair share. @jmarinmo presents another lovely natural cascade of water, this time from Costa Rica. La Fortuna Waterfall looks like a stream of clear silk as it descends the green cliff towards the shiny wet rocks below, a stunning vista that must look and sound even more breathtaking up close.

The Cameron Highlands comes alive in this photo by @the_gim89. Here we see squarish sections of tea leaves parted by small pathways, like the hallways of a grassy maze. Far beyond the foreground, the rising sun shines upon the Highlands in a familiar iridescent glow, a promise for a new day full of new opportunities.

Our final pick of the week (the year, even!) is from @dosselp, showcasing the unforgettable slopes of Vanoise Massif, a mountain range in France. Here we see an aesthetically-pleasing blend of colors, textures and hues, with a dynamic skyline that gives this stationary photo a sense of movement and vividness. Oh, how we’d love to hike a mountain sometime next year. How about you?

That’s it for this week. Be sure to visit us next year for a fresh batch of photos to kickstart your wanderlust in 2021. When it’s safe to travel again, why not join in on our weekly celebration?
