The world is a wondrous place, full of beautiful and eye-catching locales. Alas, the pandemic has made international travel inconvenient or impossible, but nonetheless, after this has passed, we’ll return to our regular vegan travels. Until then, let’s enjoy beautiful images from far off places. Welcome to this week’s Travel Tuesday blog!

This week, we’ve gathered another great bunch of great images from the folk of Instagram, images that remind us of comfortable memories, like a cool breeze felt while watching the sunset. We’ve got mountainsides, forests, and so much more in store for you this week.

Ready? Let’s go!

First up is this immersive view of Pak Nam Pran by @lucky_photo_nt. Here we see a lush river flanked by tall grass and low mountains. An estuary is usually the source of water and life for the creatures that dwell near it. From fishes and lizards, to horses and small mammals, an estuary eventually leads to a river, in this case, the PranBuri River.

Who doesn’t like a good rainbow? @aoakua777 presents this lovely shot from Kuai, Hawaii. Here we see the verdant mountains and cliffs that make up the higher parts of the Hawaiian island. Of course, one of the main highlights of this image is the beautiful rainbow that adorns this great green vale. Wherever you may be, seeing a rainbow will always be a neat experience.

@yosoycassi presents a shot of the Blue Lakes, a place that really lives up to its name. We like to repeat the phrase “reflecting the sky above” when describing the many great lakes of the world. In this case, it wouldn’t be apt, because the sheer azure hue of the waters here seem bluer than the sky above. It’s always so refreshing to see cold and clean locales like this lake.

Valia Calda looks beautiful this time of year. Thanks to @gotsisalxandros’ shot, we can see the sheer loveliness of the forest, from the sharp linear shapes of the trees to the vibrant colors of the leaves. Oh, how nice it would be to walk through such woodlands again! One of these days, we can go walking in the sunshine of far off places when it’s safe to do so.

Our last pick of the week comes from @onthefly_ty, showcasing the cold but colorful plains and mountain sides of Alaska. The warm, earthy reds of the plains really looks aesthetically pleasing when contrasted with the stark whites of the higher parts of the mountains. Contrasts in nature are really striking and beautiful. The leaves in the foreground are a nice touch, too.

That’s it for this week. Be sure to visit us next week for a fresh batch of photos to admire and be inspired by. When it’s safe to travel again, why not join in on our weekly celebration?
