The time for traveling may have to be delayed, but that doesn’t mean that we can’t fill our itineraries. Our own departures with Vegan Culinary Cruises are waiting for more favorable times, but until then we’re keeping our adventurous spirit alive. As we enter the eleventh month of 2020, let’s make the rest of the year count. Welcome to this week’s Travel Tuesday blog!

This week, we’ve compiled five great locales that give off November vibes, from luxurious islands to white stone cities. Keeping one’s sense of wonder might seem like an effort these days, but with our weekly gallery, we can help you still look forward to a time for vacations.

Ready? Let’s go!

We’ve got some pleasant cream colors in this great starter to the gallery! @arcticangie presents this pastel-sky photo from Longyearbyen, showing how a cold northern locale can still hold so much warmth. From the mirror-like waters to the pleasant hue of the sky above, this photo just looks so comfy.

Now here’s a totally different sort of coastal vibe! This shot of Jackson Bay is by @tknff.lx, showcasing the mist-shrouded stones of a place near an ocean that you can barely see. You can even make out some of the textures of the rocks here and there, while the pallor of the clouds above almost makes this coast seem like part of the sky. Wow, just wow.

Here’s something quite peculiar and eye-catching. @uz.loreta presents this snapshot of the Hill of Crosses in Lithuania. No one is sure who exactly started this tradition, but gradually this locale became a place of pilgrimage and prayer, with strong connections to the history of Lithuania, from its triumphs to its woes. Rarely do we see such a somber locale grace our feeds, but here it is.

Sveti Stefan looks alive in this aerial shot by @chillout.montenegro. Here we see the luxurious islet cupped in the blue hues of the magnificent Montenegro coastline. It looks like a small quaint village from above, like a slice of the mainland that’s been carefully placed amidst the waters of the sea. Oh, to be able to visit such locales one day.

What makes a sunset look great? Is it the way the light bounces on the clouds? Or the environment that complements the last rays of the sun? Well, check this out. @clubsession presents a magnificent shot of Lindos, Greece, in the midst of a subtle sunset. Here the white buildings seem to glow as the day fades, their windows and other details becoming more prominent against the paleness of the walls. There’s a familiarity to this locale so far away from one’s actual homes, a vibe that’s been successfully captured in this photo.

That’s it for this week. Be sure to visit us next week for a fresh batch of great photos to admire and be inspired by. Want to join in on our weekly celebration in the future?
