How’s your week been? Well, it’s only the second day, but a lot can happen over the span of Monday and Tuesday. We may talk about the months flying so fast, but when you look hard enough, you can find a lot of valuable and memorable experiences in the small hours of every day. Maybe yesterday you stubbed your toe and remembered the first time you kicked a soccer ball, or made some vegan cuisine and became inspired to try a new recipe. Even the smallest things can spark imagination and happiness in all of us. Welcome to this week’s Travel Tuesday blog.

This week, we’ve got a great selection of great photos to inspire you during these trying times, reminders that there are places on Earth that are just ripe for exploration once you’re allowed to explore far and wide once more. We’ve got beaches, forests, and more for your eyes to feast on.

Read? Let’s jump right into it!

Look upon Sigiriya of Sri Lanka! Ain’t it neat? @breathtaking_sceneries presents this magnificent shot of a rock formation that once held a capital city. Even with almost no trace of the city left upon the stone (save a few frescoes and some carvings), the Lion Rock maintains its magnificence today.

Lustica Bay, Montenegro looks quite lively! Even without any visible people in this particular shot, there’s still a sense of relaxation and joy to this photo, as if it was a “Wish you were here” kind of travel photo. Thanks to @tijana99’s great photo, we can see that there are still locales in the world with beautifully blue coasts and white sand beaches.

@noiremonroe presents this somber shot of a forest of fallen leaves on Nami Island, Korea. We’re feeling a lot of Fall energy from this particular photo, from the pale orange leaves to the almost contrasting hues of the deeper forest and the blue of the waters. Autumn is almost here.

Gaze upon the high slopes of the Pyreneees! @_.patricia_ presents this great shot of the green mountains beneath a blue sky speckled with clouds, the signs of civilization almost an afterthought in the lower left corner of the photo. We see a lot of mountains when we scour IG for great photos every week, and this one in particular seems pretty comfy, almost like a painting.

Our final pick of the week belongs to @elenapocheva, showcasing the Chmarossky Viaduct of Slovakia. Here we see a tall, imposing human-made structure in the foreground of an otherwise green and fertile landscape, the arched supports of the viaduct almost seeming like doors. There’s a sense of wonder to this structure, especially when contrasted with its environment. Here we see nature and civilization in silent harmony, their lack of conflict forming an ideal picture.

That’s it for this week. Be sure to visit us next week for a fresh batch of photos. Want to join us in the future? Just add the hashtags #TravelTuesday and #VacationingVegan on your future travel photos, and who knows, maybe you’ll be featured in a blog one day!
