If you love travel photos as much as the Vegan Culinary Cruises team does, our blog is the place to be every Tuesday.

Each week we curate our Top 5 Instagram travel photos so you don’t have to do the hard work of searching around the Internet. These #TravelTuesday images are what we consider the most exciting and inspirational travel photos of the week. We hope you agree!

Take your time to scroll through, enjoy, and start dreaming of your next vacation.

Our first #TravelTuesday entry this week comes from user @leonvanmaenen and features the world-famous Taj Mahal. Commissioned by Shah Jahan in 1631, the building was constructed in the memory of his wife Mumtaz Mahal. Extra note: rumors around the Vegan Culinary Cruises office suggest we might be looking at India as a destination for a future vegan cruise. Sign up for our newsletter to ensure you are the first to find out.

Instagram user @alphaspotting is truly someone you need to follow if you adore travel photography. This aerial shot of Dubai in the United Arab Emirates is possibly our favorite of the week. What do you think? That skyline is quite spectacular.

Adventure along the stunning Denize Bluffs in the Mangaotaki Valley! Home to towering limestone cliffs, primeval forest & rolling farmland. This is the Trollshaws filming location in the Hobbit, where Thorin's company discover a troll hoard & Bilbo receives his sword Sting. We were lucky enough to have a private tour with our wonderful guide Suzie, the owner! @hairyfeetwaitomo is a #nzmustdo for any #middleearth fan! 09/18 🇳🇿 . @melkebelle #denizebluffs #hairyfeettours #hairyfeetwaitomo #mangaotakivalley #piopio #waitomo #nz #nztourism #nzmustsee #purenz #nztravel #northislandnz #hobbit #trollshaws #tolkien #gandalf #thorin #sting #orcrist #cliff #limestone #travel #traveler #traveller #travelgram #tripadvisor #travelphotography #newzealand

If you are a Lord of the Rings fans, just like @azz.davies is, you might just recognize the cliffs featured in our third photo pick of the week. Mangaotaki Valley in New Zealand was used extensively in the Hollywood blockbuster, The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey. Put your hand up if you are a Tolkien fan!

@koron1200 certainly took our breath away with this gorgeous photo of the Aare River. This pristine waterway stretches almost 300km and is home to more than 40 hydroelectric plants. Switzerland is surely one of the most photogenic countries on the planet, wouldn’t you agree?

It’s no secret that the Vegan Culinary Cruises team is in love with Vietnam (we are sailing on the Mekong in July 2020), so you shouldn’t be too surprised to see this aspirational photo of Ha Long Bay on our top 5 list this week. Instagram user @annamazing has managed to capture the majesty of this legendary turquoise bay and its fragmented, lush islands.

Did our top 5 #Instagram picks this week give you the travel bug? The list certainly gave our travel-obsessed team food for thought.

We will be back with another list next week, so in the meantime join our weekly celebration of travel photos by sharing your vacation snaps online. Upload your photos on Instagram with the hashtags #TravelTuesday and #VacationingVegan and you might just end up on our weekly list.

And if our list has inspired you to see the world, make sure you check out our upcoming Vegan Culinary Cruises adventures for 2020. It would be our pleasure to welcome you as we redefine vegan travel on the world’s greatest waterways.
