Here at Vegan Culinary Cruises, there are two big things that we adore: Delicious vegan food and amazing travel experiences. Our #TravelTuesday blog is dedicated to the latter, to the beauty of the world and all its great locales. This week, we’ve chosen to showcase 5 great travel photos from the prolific travelers of Instagram, photos that evoke a sense of longing and adventure in us.

First up is this atmospheric sunset shot of Venice by @timotography. This canal city in Italy has been the tour destination of countless travelers, but each visit is always unique. This vintage-looking shot of a waterway street evokes a sense of history to the place, the shadows providing a sense of texture to the scene, a sense of timelessness and dignity. Venice seems like a great place for european vegan cruises.
Wat Arun gleams bright in @wanderwithmynikon’s travel photo. This Buddhist temple in Bangkok, Thailand looks positively regal and imposing in this shot, the slope of the pyramidal structure filled with intricate sculptures and details, dwarfing the visitors on the lower steps. We can only imagine what it feels like to be near such a place of history up close. Better yet, we might just plan to visit it for ourselves.
@rainbow1415 presents our next Travel Tuesday pick, a serene shot of Ritsurin Garden, Japan. This verdant cultural monument was once owned by a feudal lord, and is now considered one of the main attractions of the city Takamutsu. We’ve heard that there’s a lovely tea house here, too.
Our next Travel Tuesday pick belongs to @jo_sep92, presenting the Ujung Water Palace. This travel destination was once a palace in Bali, Indonesia, created by the order of the King of Karangasem. After Mount Agung’s eruption in 1963, most of the original Water Palace was destroyed. Despite this, its remaining structures look resolute, becoming the centerpiece of the vibrant park that now stands in the palace’s place.
This magnificent shot of the Isle of Skye concludes our Travel Tuesday. Taken by @jiayophotography, this travel photo of one of Scotland’s isles is just absolutely stunning, from the stones that seem like towers to the grass that catches the golden hues of the sun. Nature is truly a wonderful thing, don’t you agree?
