Here’s to the very first #TravelTuesday blog of 2020! We’re just as passionate as ever when it comes to vegan travel. This week, we’ve got great travel photos prepared for you on this first Tuesday of the decade, gathered from the galleries of the great travelers of Instagram. For the new year, check out scenic images to inspire you for your future travel endeavors, from shots of sacred temples to photos of metropolitan hot spots.

Without further ado, let’s begin exploring!

Our first travel pick for 2020 belongs to @taste.mood.progress, with a magnificent shot of Singapore’s New Year fireworks celebration above the Marina Bay Sands Hotel. Just look at those starry lights! The electric blue of the Garden by the Bay really compliments the violet pinpricks of light scattered across this announcement of the new decade.

@davidbrownzgz presents our next pick, which may look familiar for some of our TV-inclined readers. That’s because Castillo de Zafra, this historic structure in Spain, was featured in several episodes of HBO’s Game of Thrones. Fan or not, the Castillo de Zafra is a great travel destination in its own right, a remnant of an era long gone.

Next up is this great perspective shot by @shuajo_t depicting the Orchha Fort Complex of India. This photo captures both the grandeur of this temple and palace complex along with the miniscule size of the tourists traversing its halls and courtyards. This image evokes a sense of mystery and adventure for us.

@from.iceland presents the Hallgrímskirkja church from Iceland. This towering structure is named after the Icelandic poet and minister Hallgrimur Petursson, and the stoic imagery of this travel photo is poetic in its own austere way. While not as vibrant as other travel locales, this Icelandic destination is still surely a place that’ll leave an impact on you.

Last but not least is this shot of Isla Mujeres by @kool_mucho. Located between the Gulf of Mexico and the Carribean Sea, Isla Mujeres, meaning “Isle of Women” in Spanish, is an interesting place for relaxing beach getaways. With this relaxing sunset shot, we conclude our #TravelTuesday for this week.

Next week we’ll be back with more fresh travel photos for your viewing pleasure. If you want to participate in our weekly tradition, simply hashtag #TravelTuesday and #VacationingVegan on you IG travel photos. You might even be featured in our future Travel Tuesday blogs.
