We’re passionate about two things: Traveling, and vegan cuisine. That’s why we make sure that our vacations allow for exquisite vegan cuisine options. But, when travel is limited or postponed, we can still enjoy great vegan food at home. Welcome to this week’s Travel Tuesday blog.
This week, we’ve got an exciting set of fabulous travel photos to show you, gathered from the galleries of the great folk of Instagram. We’ve got misty mountains, beautiful waterfalls and so much more for you to feast your eyes on.

Our first pick of the week belongs to @ricardojosevasconcelos, showcasing a scenic shot of Sintra at nighttime. Here the stars twinkle like points of radiance against deep blue curtains, a clear atmosphere that enhances the brightness of the town below. We also see the castle of Sintra in the distance, a shining beacon on the horizon, like a cluster of stars upon the earth.
Next up is @cassyarchphotography with their atmospheric photo of the Arizona wilderness. The desert is a biome that is as diverse as the forests of the world above and the undersea realms beneath the waves. You’ve got sand dunes, massive rock formations, valleys, and green places like this. The dark clouds and the orange sunset really adds to the ambience of this magnificent shot.
The air around Volcan Tajumulco looks absolutely gorgeous in @alejandrom2697’s photo. Here the diffuse glow of the setting sun makes the thin sheet of cloud a portrait of soft hues, like the cover of an album, or the background of an abstract portrait. The faint moon in the distance is a nice touch, contrasting with the darker color of the shadowed mountain below.
@linhkdk showcases a stunning photograph of Ban Gioc-Detian Falls, the cascading water a mere fleck of white in the immensity of the greenery that dominates the frame. There’s a thick, palpable texture to this image, a sense of lushness and growth that seems to overwhelm the waterfall itself. It resembles a watercolor painting in a way, except that it is realer and more vivid than any creation of paint.
Our final pick of the week belongs to @miroslav_konfal, presenting a stunning view from Velky Choc. The mist of the world above seems to glow in the light of the sun, coloring the frigid air and the banks of snow in the foreground. There is a kind of ephemeral beauty in traveling up a mountain, leaving behind the confines of a safe height in favor of a stunning, albeit precarious vista. Views like this are the reason why we choose to travel the world.
