To celebrate the new year, we’ve cooked up some great new vegan cuisine recipes that you can try out, like these chocolate-almond truffles. INGREDIENTS

  • 1 cup dates, pitted
  • 0.5 cup almond butter, raw
  • 2 tbsp cocoa powder natural and unsweetened
  • 3 tbsp chia seeds, grounded

coating:

  • cocoa powder, unsweetened
  • almonds raw, chopped
  • hazelnuts raw, chopped
  • coconut flakes, unsweetened

PREPARATION:

  1. Add dates, cocoa powder and chia seeds to a food processor and blend, then add the almond butter and blend more until the mixture is well-combined.
  2. Remove from the food processor and form into balls. Roll balls in cocoa powder, ground almonds or hazelnuts, or unsweetened shredded coconut.
