To celebrate the new year, we’ve cooked up some great new vegan cuisine recipes that you can try out, like these chocolate-almond truffles. INGREDIENTS
- 1 cup dates, pitted
- 0.5 cup almond butter, raw
- 2 tbsp cocoa powder natural and unsweetened
- 3 tbsp chia seeds, grounded
coating:
- cocoa powder, unsweetened
- almonds raw, chopped
- hazelnuts raw, chopped
- coconut flakes, unsweetened
PREPARATION:
- Add dates, cocoa powder and chia seeds to a food processor and blend, then add the almond butter and blend more until the mixture is well-combined.
- Remove from the food processor and form into balls. Roll balls in cocoa powder, ground almonds or hazelnuts, or unsweetened shredded coconut.
