We’d like to help you out, by offering a tasty soaky black bean brownie recipe. Made with black beans, almond butter and delicious cacao, this tasty treat is fit for the holiday season and beyond.

INGREDIENTS:

  • 280 gr black beans, cooked without salt
  • 170 gr dates, pitted and chopped
  • 2 tbsp almond butter
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 70 gr cacao powder, natural, non-alkalized
  • 1 tbsp chia seeds, grounded

PREPARATION:

  1. Preheat the oven to 95˚C.
  2. Combine the black beans, dates, almond butter and vanilla in a food processor or high-powered blender.
  3. Blend until smooth, add the remaining ingredients and blend again.
  4. Spread onto a very lightly-oiled 8 x 8-inch baking pan.
  5. Bake for 1 1/2 hours, cool completely, and cut into small squares.
  6. Enjoy

Notes:
Optional Topping

  • 1 pcs avocado, ripe
  • 0.5 cup water
  • 4 tbsp cacao powder, natural, non-alkalized and unsweetened
  • 5 pcs dates, pitted
  • 1 splash vanilla extract

Blend topping ingredients in a high powered blender, and spread it on the brownies.
