It’s November and winter is in full swing. We’ve only got two months left in 2020, and with the pandemic still ongoing, we’re going to have to be careful with how we celebrate the next few holidays. With that being said, it’s still a time to celebrate. It’s another Friday, the culmination of the week, so why not make the most of it? Want to make some great vegan cuisine? Well, be inspired by this week’s Food Friday blog!

This week, we’ve decided to combat the chilly weather with some bright and vibrant vegan food photo pics, plant-based dishes by the dedicated foodies of Instagram. We’ve got protein bites, pasta portions, and other assorted delights heading your way! Be inspired in your own culinary endeavors now!

Ready? Let’s go!

Let’s have some warm and appetizing hues! @ninthrevival presents this lovely plate of fried tofu, ginger, tamari and scallions, shot from an orange wood tabletop that really adds that “oomph” factor in the dish’s presentation. Orange is a color that makes people hungry, and by color alone this dish is quite striking. One can never get tired of the taste of great tofu.

Ah, the joys of great pasta! This wondrous bowl of vegan tofu and mushroom bolognese was made by @byanjushka, a comforting mix of great ingredients that look filling and flavorful at the same time. How do you feel about pasta? What kinds of pasta do you use for your own dishes? There are plenty of easy vegan recipes out there that use pasta, so why not start now? This vegan bolognese IG photo is a great inspiration for vegan foodies everywhere.

Vietnamese cuisine is quite a treat. There are plenty of variants that are wholly plant-based, not to mention unique and tasty. @mud.bistro presents one such dish, a serving of Betel Leaf Platter Ban Hoi. Just look at that rice vermicelli! There’s something about this particular photo that just screams “plant-based.” It’s probably the leaf plate, but also the ingredients just seem like they belie a tastiness that’s hard to describe.

Time for some dessert! @mieseats presents this great serving of jelly and peanut butter-baked cauliflower oats. Have you seen the short video of this? Just seeing that spoon sink into the bowl and present the food’s consistency is amazing. Plus, there’s an ingredient list, so you can also make it for yourself if you want. This dish looks quite comfy and we’d love to savor it on a rainy afternoon.

Our final pick of the week is by @you_beauty_protein_bites, showcasing a set of mouth-watering chocolate chip mint slices. Mint is a great ingredient for many kinds of vegan desserts, and if you’re looking for something cool for the tongue when you want to nourish yourself, adding some mint to your regular energy-giving snacks is a delightful thing. Mint chocolate is awesome, we tell you. In addition the context of this particular set of protein bars is touching.
