We’re excited to go on vegan holidays once more in the near future, but until that day arrives, we’ll be at home making delicious food to nourish ourselves each day. Some days are easy, while others are challenging. In times like these, it’s good to have a consistent source of culinary inspiration, so that when meal time comes, you’ll have a fresh vegan food idea right away. Welcome to this week’s Food Friday blog.

This week, we’ve got a fresh batch of great vegan food photos in store for you, gathered from the great foodies of Instagram. We’ve got bars, pies, cakes and so much more to show for this week’s delightful gallery.

Ready? Let’s dig right in!

Our first pick of the week belongs to @savvy_vegan, presenting a colorful and vibrant Moroccan-style warm salad. With a great selection of ingredients that include red chili, Moroccan olives and baby pumpkin, this will surely gratify one’s taste buds. Warm salads offer a new kind of gastronomic experience if you want something different from the salads that you’re used to.

Next up is @bydror’s lovely plant-based Rhubarb cake. Rhubarb is a filling vegetable that, when grown in a specific manner (in a dark place under specific conditions), can produce noise as it rapidly grows, but we digress. This festive seasonal cake comes with sliced almonds and colorful freesias, a dessert that reminds us of a tropical day or a summertime noon.

Ready for snacks? We sure are! @nourishandflourishsyd presents a bunch of bite-sized peanut butter caramel bars. These quick snacks come with a lot of benefits, such as antioxidants. Plus, oats are good for your health. The texture and presentation are also top-notch. The lighting makes these bars very appetizing.

@antaryrvn presents a humble plant-based spinach pie, a round pastry dish with a deep green center of tasty leafy goodness. Spinach has a rich taste that pairs well with both thick soupy meals and chewy pastry servings, such as this pie. There’s something so comfy about the concept of eating pie on a warm summer noon, or even a chilly autumn dusk.

Our final pick of the week belongs to @crumbs.and.caramel, showcasing their delightful roasted cauliflower garlic miso pasta plate. Miso is a traditional Japanese seasoning usually served in soup, but as it turns out, it works quite well with pasta. This umami wonder looks like something that you’d see in a five-star restaurant, but luckily, with the right ingredients, you too can savor something as majestic as this lovely meal.

That’s it for this week. Be sure to visit us next week for a fresh batch of great vegan food photos to admire and be inspired by. Want to showcase your own vegan dishes in the future? Just add the hashtags #FoodFriday and #VacationingVegan on your future IG vegan food photos, and who knows, maybe you’ll be featured in a future blog!
