The rain comes and goes, bringing the smell of wet earth and the chill of moist air with it. Rain can occur during summer evenings and autumn afternoons, bringing water to the dry soil. Rainy days can be a source of melancholy, but also a source of inspiration. Welcome to this week’s Food Friday blog.

This week, we’ve got a great selection of vegan cuisine photos in store for you, gathered from the galleries of Instagram’s dedicated foodies. We’ve got pies, pizzas and so much more to show.

Ready? Let’s dig right in!

Our first pick of the week belongs to @the.amateur.vegan_, showcasing a delicious set of kimchi avocado rolls in sushi wrap. Kimchi is a cold and spicy Korean dish that’s usually vegan (the versions that eschew shrimp and fish paste), and is perfect for cold weather. These rolls would be quite splendid for rainy days or chilly nights.

Our next pick is by @safarielle, presenting an absolutely gorgeous raw vegan pizza. Just look at all the ingredients, their various textures highlighted by the radiance of the room. Plant-based pizzas are always a treat, and raw vegan renditions of such fast foods meals are extra-delicious.

Who loves falafel? Well, if you do, then you’re in luck, because this wrap by @falafelspace looks so fresh and delicious, just the right kind of food photo to inspire you on your own cuisine endeavors. The bright sunlight and crisp wrappings really make this meal look extra-delicious.

@thefoodiethatsvegan presents this peach vegan pie, the result of a seasonal harvest. Fruit-based pies have a soft spot in our hearts, so this peach-based dessert dish makes us yearn for a slice. Just imagine yourself making a peach pie on a cool day, partaking in something warm and sweet as you snuggle up in your blanket.

Our final pick of the week belongs to @vegan.harvest.25, showcasing a set of plant-based blueberry muffins. Muffins are a dessert that can be eaten as a snack or as part of a celebration, versatile comfort food that never fails to sweeten those swift moments between busy work and chore hours. We can just imagine the taste of the blueberry as we bite into these soft and chewy delights.

That’s it for this week. Be sure to visit us next week for a fresh batch of great vegan food photos to admire and be inspired by. Want to showcase your own vegan dishes? Just add the hashtags #FoodFriday and #VacationingVegan on your future IG vegan food photos, and who knows, maybe you’ll be featured in a future blog!
