The way we spend our mornings helps define the vibe of the rest of the day. That’s why getting up with a spring in your step and a conscious effort to be positive can do wonders in the long run. Having a great plant-based breakfast certainly helps too. Welcome to this week’s FoodFriday blog!

This week, we’ve got quite a selection of great vegan food photos for your viewing pleasure, crafted by the dedicated foodies of Instagram. We’ve got cakes, tofu and so much more in store for you this Friday, a visual smorgasbord of plant-based delights.

Ready? Let’s dig right in!

@sibels.recipe presents our first pick of the week, showcasing a scrumptious and festive-looking vegan shepherd’s pie. We love the deep yellow hue of the potato, along with the green and red bits that remind us of Christmas decor, which was just a few weeks ago. If you ever feel like every day has blended into each other, try something new and tasty, like this vegan shepherd’s pie.

Ah, stir fry. One of the tastiest ways that you can prepare your vegetables. This fresh and crunchy rendition of vegan stir fry by @feasting.with.fran looks absolutely refreshing! The lighting and the colors of the veggies lend a sense of cleanliness to this particular dish. Yum!

Want some cake? Well, @katarai_kitchen presents this delicious pandan coconut cream cake. Just reading the ingredient list makes our mouth water, and gives off images of a nice, cool and flavorful slice of sweetness on our tongues. Pandan is a tasty ingredient that you should totally incorporate in more cake recipes.

@thebeermatchmaker presents these warm and delicious coconut curry rice noodles. Curry is one of the best dishes to savor in cold time, since the natural spice of its ingredients really makes your taste buds come alive. We’re loving the appetizing hues of this particular bowl, a gentle yellow glow that really catches your attention.

Our final pick for this Friday belongs to @healthfulbite, showcasing these eye-catching blueberry pie bars. Ah, blueberries. Their deep blackish-purple colors contrast well with other kinds of vegan ingredients, like the pinkish hue of a smoothie. Here, it contrasts with the white background, with the slightly red colors really making it stand out. When you’re not busy with your day to day tasks, why not spend some time and savor something new, such as this recipe?

That’s it for this week. Be sure to visit us next week for a fresh batch of vegan dishes to admire and be inspired by. Want to join in on our weekly celebration of vegan food?
