What a year it’s been. Month after month, something new and strange just seems to pop up unexpectedly. However, in times like this, we can all work at finding a way to cope and continue with our lives. Vegan holidays might take a while to get off the ground right now, but that shouldn’t stop you from celebrating your lifestyle indoors. Welcome to this week’s Food Friday blog.

This week, we’ve compiled a great selection of vegan food photos that remind us that, despite everything, we can still find the time to create and enjoy delicious vegan food. We’ve got soups, cakes, noodles and so much more in store for you.

Ready? Let’s go!

First up is this lovely shot from @alexafuelednaturally, showcasing the delicious ingredients of a vegan cream of mushroom soup. Just look at the textures of those mushrooms! The creamy soup is also a nice and appetizing detail. Yum. With a comprehensive list of plant-based delights, you too can recreate this delectable and satisfying soup dish.

@eatwithsimer presents this plant-based soba noodles and spinach plate, a filling and tasty meal that’s sure to leave a smile on your face when you finish it up. Soba, or buckwheat noodles are chewy ingredients in a lot of Asian-style recipes, and we’re glad to see another recipe that uses it. Ah, spinach, ever a flavorful ingredient that works well with a lot of different plant-based foods, like soba.

Here’s a great Mexican Baguette from @the.vegan.view! Oh, we see a lot of lovely ingredients here, from avocado to jalapeño. When you think about it, baguettes are some of the best sandwich breads out there. You’ve got stuff like banh mi from Vietnam, and also Mexican-style dishes like this. The natural crunch of the french-baked bread works well with a lot of plant-based recipes.

Here comes another memorable smoothie, this time by @youniverse_vegan. This green smoothie bowl is packed with a variety of filling and nutritious ingredients, from grains to seeds to kale. But you already know this. Almost all smoothies have the same DNA to their composition, but they are always unique in flavor and presentation. We can imagine that this particular smoothie tastes delicious after a morning exercise.

Our final pick for this Friday is by @graines_de_folie_co, showcasing their great set of raw vegan strawberry coco chocolate cake slices. Phew! We’re sure that these sweet delights are also quite a mouthful. The ice cream-esque colors just make this plant-based dessert have a familiar and comfy appearance. Raw vegan recipes have a unique flavor and mouthfeel to them, and we’re certain that these slices provide a memorable gastronomic experience.

That’s it for this week. Be sure to visit us next Friday for a fresh batch of vegan food photos to admire and be inspired by. Want to join in on our weekly celebrations?
