This week, we’ve chosen five great vegan cuisine photos that look quite celebratory and festive, reminders that happiness isn’t restricted to travels far away. We’ve got vegan steaks and fruity desserts, avocados and sweet treats, meals that are to make your days brighter.

Let’s start with some tasty dessert! @theplantlifechoseus presents these awesome vegan protein brownies. We’re loving the wonderfully vivid hue of these fudgy delights. With a recipe to accompany these great visuals, we can’t wait to savor this sometime in the future!

Plant-based pizza makes for great vegan cuisine, so we’re always happy to see some new variations of that great dish. @healthyfeast presents these delectable bite-sized gluten free pizzas look great, and would pair well with a sweet drink for an afternoon snack session. Big or small, pizza is awesome however you slice it.

Just look at this artistic fruit pastry! @zumaorganic presents this wonderful fruit-based baked delight, one that resembles a painting that uses slices as its medium. The use of vegan cream cheese must have made this pastry’s flavor more delicious.

#Repost @plantcrazii • • • • • • In case you’ve been thinking about making some lip smacking vegan ribs.. I got what you need! Look at what King Oyster mushrooms & a bit of magic can do 👀. Here is a 15min recipe to my quick & easy *Smoky BBQ Sticky Ribs*! King oyster mushroomzz is one of the juiciest mushrooms out there & it is so versatile. Recipe: For BBQ Sauce: 1 cup of any dark BBQ sauce 1Tsp of hickory smoke liquid 1Tsp corn starch slurry *mix all of the above together * For the "Ribs" 3 Large king oyster mushrooms! Remove the head of the mushrooms Rinse your mushrooms & dry them off. Slice them into desired "rib" pieces( just make sure your pieces are about 1 inch thick so it can hold its juice) Heat up a pan to medium high heat & spray a light layer of oil into your pan. Once pan is hot, fry all your pieces for 1 1/2 minute on each side. Transfer your pieces to a baking tray and coat boat sides with BBQ sauce. Place your tray on the top rack of your oven and set your oven to broil. I recommend turning on your oven light and watching this step carefully as it should only take a fast 2 minutes or less for your pieces to be nicely broiled & sticky! And there you have it! Who said that ribs have to be made of meat? @candid_girl presents this scrumptious and mouth-watering vegan ribs recipe. We agree wholeheartedly with the adjective “lip-smacking”, because just look at how juicy this mushroom-based meal looks! There’s a recipe too, so you can make it for yourself at home.

Ah, avocado, a fitting ingredient to conclude our Food Friday blog. @micadeli presents this delicious avocado recipe that combines avocado (of course), quinoa and figs into a satisfying mixture that looks pleasing on the eye and most certainly pleasing on the tongue. We’ve seen plenty of great salad recipes, and this one of the best.
