What’s up, you beautiful partakers in vegan cuisine! We’ve returned for another great #FoodFriday blog, here to grace your screens with sumptuous images of plant-based meals from the great foodies of Instagram. Quarantines and lockdowns may slow down our social lives and create an uncomfortable “new normal”, but that doesn’t mean that you can’t try to cheer yourself up with delicious food. That’s why we’re here to liven up your indoor days with great vegan food photos!
Are you ready? Let’s dig right in!
Let’s begin with this delicious homemade vegan pizza by @vegandayday. While this particular food photo lacks the signature vivid greens of some vegan cuisine, the sheer magnitude of mouth-watering textures that it exudes makes that a moot point. We’ve always been fans of vegan pizza, and this wondrous rendition of one of our favorite dishes makes us crave it more.
Let’s move on from something warm and fluffy to something hard and crunchy! @veganzoodles presents this delicious set of zucchini and bean hardshell tacos, served with sauce that may or may not be spicy (Schrödinger Spiciness, you could say.) Some days you just want to experience vegan food with all five senses. With a taco, you can cover all bases: smell(the leafy scent of the ingredients and strong odor of sauces), touch (the hard taco surface against your fingertips), sight (the only sense that you can use to perceive this taco right now, sadly), taste (when you put it in your mouth to savor its great flavor), and hearing (for when you hear the CRUNCH of the shell against your teeth as you bite into it.)
@_savethelastbite_ presents our next Food Friday pick, a vegan plate, containing bok choy, macadamia, rice and miso-glazed eggplant and tofu. Vegan food’s biggest advantage is its versatility, combining several different plant-based ingredients to make something beautiful and new. This assortment of vegan ingredients will surely satisfy anyone who sits down to partake in it.
@Itjustmakesmehappy presents this beautiful bowl of sunshine, a bowl of vegan Asian style noodles. We’re loving the sunny colors and the vivid greens of this particular dish, but what we love more is the recipe that accompanies it. Noodles are great to savor during a long day of staying indoors, and thanks to this recipe, we can enjoy a new flavor of vegan noodle delight.
Toast is fitting for both savory and sweet recipes, as evident by our final Food Friday pick of the week. This sourdough toast by @_myplantbasedplate is served with coconut yogurt and scrumptious sauteed apple slices. The background of this delectable vegan dessert just accents the sense of delight that must come from partaking in this all-green dessert.
That’s it for this week. Be sure to visit us next week for a fresh batch of great vegan food photos. Interested in participating in our weekly celebration? Just add the hashtags #FoodFriday and #VacationingVegan on your next vegan food photo, and who knows, maybe you’ll get featured in a future blog!

Hi there exceptional website! Does running a blog similar to this require a great deal of work? I have absolutely no expertise in computer programming however I was hoping to start my own blog soon. Anyways, if you have any ideas or tips for new blog owners please share. I understand this is off topic however I simply needed to ask. Thanks a lot!
