There are many ways to pass the time while waiting indoors. Making delicious vegan cuisine is one of them. When it’s safe to travel once more, we’ll gladly invite you to our planned vegan river cruises, but until then, we’ll just grace your screen with plant-based cuisine. Welcome to this week’s Food Friday blog.

This week, we’ve selected five more great vegan food photos from the wonderful foodies of Instagram. Their all-green delights inspire us to make our own vegan indoor dishes, from cool bowls to warm pizzas.

Ready? Let’s dig right in.

Let’s start this week’s selection with something sweet and colorful! @peterlimper presents this wonderful fruit smoothie bowl. We can spot blueberries, strawberries and kiwi adorning this delectable vegan dessert. This splash of color can brighten up any Friday evening.

Save your money on delivery and make your own homemade pizza! @plantbasedpipp has the right idea. Just look at that enticing vegan mozzarella! Reading from the tags, it seems that this pizza is spicy, too. Nothing like an all-vegan savory meal to give our taste buds a much-needed zap.

Red Bean Brownies. You read it right. Traditional red bean paste filling, that you would find inside taiyaki or Mochi, it’s in this brownie batter. A few years ago, black bean brownies became popular in certain health circles. Never tried it, wasn’t interested. But red beans lend themselves so well to Japanese desserts…I thought…ima try it. Um, they are good y’all. THESE RED BEAN BROWNIES ARE GOOD. They are lightly sweetened with maple syrup. They have the traditional crunchy/crack top. The only thing that is different about them is the texture. They are much lighter than a traditional brownie, but still have a touch of richness at the same time. The red bean flavor is very mild, but it’s there. I like red bean desserts, so I’m into it. I like these, I’m proud of these, I did a good 🙃 However small of a win this is, I needed it. 🙏 #vegan #vegans #veganfood #brownies #vegansofig #vegansofinstagram #whatveganseat #baking #quarantinefood #quarantinebaking #redbeanpaste

@jollylittlefox presents these jolly great red bean brownies. We’re loving the rich crimson color of the brownies, the outside light highlighting the healthy textures of these desserts. We adore sweet foods, especially those that provide health and nutrition from unconventional sources, like red beans.

QUALITY OVER QUANTITY — keep this in mind when it comes to everything in life. clothes. objects. friends. food. everything. specifically with food, i so often seen girls caught up in the numbers — “this has too many calories” or “i can’t eat that because it has x grams of carbs.” well, news flash ! it’s not about the numbers. at all. our bodies don’t know what these numbers are – they don’t even know what a calorie is. a calorie is a scientific measurement and something we don’t need to be worried about. what should we be thinking about when choosing what we put in our bodies ? the QUALITY ! look at the ingredients. i always tell people they the ingredients are what count. i chose to fuel my body with real, whole foods and ONLY look at the ingredients. it’s simple – eat real, clean foods until you are satisfied and you will feel like your best, most vibrant self. food doesn’t have to be complicated. go back to basics and nourish your body, mind, and soul…much love xx #wellnessbyworth threw together the most random salad the other night that ended up being one of the most delish salads i have ever had. period. and i’ve had a lot of salads in my life ! i did a base of mixed greens tossed with lemon, olive oil, and red wine vinegar topped with some sprouted black rice, cucumber, carrot, leftover roasted zucchini, kalamata olives, basil kraut, and the best part… TAHINI CHEEZE (v, gf, food combining) 1/3 c tahini (i like @soomfoods) juice from 1 lemon 1/2 tsp onion powder 1/2 tsp pink salt 1/4 tsp pepper 2 tb nutritional yeast 1-2 tb filtered water (start with 1 and add more if you want it to be less thick) in a small bowl, whisk together all of the ingredients until it forms into a thick paste. store in an airtight container in the fridge. throw it on top of a salad, spread on your avo toast, use as a dip for veggies, stir into brown rice pasta, the options are endless ! inspired by the one and only @kenzieburke. xx

@lemonsworthlovin presents their delectable salad, with a recipe to boot. Sometimes, “all-green cuisine” feels like a misnomer, as vegetables come in all hues and colors. Even as this delicious salad is mostly green, you can feel the effect of the orange carrot slices and dark olives on your visual gastronomic senses. Salads too, come in all shapes and hues, such as this great example of vegan cuisine.

This morning I made a BOMB quinoa breakfast bowl. It was so easy to make and bursting with flavor. A really good and healthy breakfast meal. This will now be my new breakfast staple. Special thanks to @flavcity for the recipe. I always enjoy watching his videos on YouTube. Because of him I actually am more aware about reading ingredients on food and finding the best and healthiest vegan meals. . . . . . . . #flavcity #keeponcooking #madlove #peace #quinoa #breakfast #quinoabreakfast #quinoabreakfastbowl #veganfood #veganos #veganmealprep #veganlife #veganfoodshare #veganfoodie #veganism #veganbreakfast #veganchef #veganrecipe #vegan #govegan #stayvegan #ビーガン #vegano #veganos #latinovegan #veganlatino #plantbasedlifestyle #plantbasedliving #foodgasm #veganpower

Our Food Friday concludes with @nivek.kev’s mouth-watering quinoa breakfast bowl, prepared with blueberries. We just love a great breakfast treat, especially one that’s so elegant in its seeming simplicity. Filling meals can help you ward away feelings of uncertainty and stagnation, and we would love to serve this kind of meal to our own families at home.
