When it comes to delicious vegan foods, we just love a dish that combines deliciousness with aesthetics. “Aesthetics” can cover a lot of different details, from the coloring of the greens to the viscosity of the sauce. However, even the most unadorned of vegan dishes have their own aesthetic beauty, an all-green austerity that we just love. Welcome to this week’s Food Friday blog!

This week, we’ve selected five great vegan dishes by the great foodies of Instagram, vegan delights that embody elegance in simplicity, from mouth-watering tofu to gratifying smoothies.

Our first vegan food pick is from @bodymindhealthtalk, presenting a lovely pair of rye toasts spread with peanut butter and raspberry chia jam. Who says peanut butter and jelly is old hat? When making snacks with a vegan’s innovation, you’ll be sure to enjoy classic meals in a new and different way. There’s even a short recipe for the chia jam included with the post! We can’t wait to make our own PB and RCJ bites to savor at home.



@izzy_vegan presents this appetizing stuffed sweet potato dish. The melt-in-your mouth sensation of this delicious vegetable is made more remarkable by a sprinkle of chia seeds, the addition of almond butter, and of course, the pleasant mouthfeel of blueberries. Paired with a short list of ingredients, this dish looks like something that’s quick to create yet satisfying all the same.



Tofu is such a versatile ingredient. Not only is it a healthy meat substitute, but it’s also a delicious viand in its own right. @narrow_road_777’s pan-fried tofu dish certainly proves that. These bean curd squares are flavored by homemade chili jam garlic and black vinegar sauce, with green herbs scattered atop it to add to the taste.

It’s an red all-green dessert, made from frozen fruits such as the berries crowning this cool smoothie glass. Whether it’s the start of the week or the end of it, a smoothie is never not a great way to revitalize your body and gratify your tastebuds.
