The depths of vegan food is unimaginably far. We’ve come so far with vegan food, it’s very likely to find a local shop selling vegan items. Vegan dishes are not as rare as before and can even be found on some of the best European vegan cruises, especially with our Vegan Culinary Cruises but more on that later on. First, let’s get into this week’s Food Friday!

This week, we’ve got a great collection of vegan food photos to show you, gathered from the galleries of Instagram’s dedicated vegan foodies. We’ve got pasta, vegan seafood and so much more for you to feast your eyes on.

Ready to dig in? Let’s go!

Starting off this week is @anna.louice_eats with a delicious pesto pasta dish. It’s cooked with lots of pesto, spices and a few sprinkles of chili flakes for that extra heat. There’s no better way to top it off than with some more chickpeas!

Have you been missing the amazing taste of a classic philly cheese steak? Now you can relive those memories with this Seitan Philly cheese steak recipe by @crowmoonkitchen! It tastes like the non-vegan version, but healthier and way more satisfying!

Are you tired of having the same old veggie pizza? Want something new? @kitchenmamba has just the perfect list of ingredients to add to your vegan pizza. Bring your healthy pizza up a notch with better, tastier ingredients that are just as healthy as veggies! Give this one a try when you’re craving some pizza.

Scallops on pasta sounds like a luxury, but it’s actually really easy to make. @sandi_higgins showcases a really good scallops and pasta recipe that you could try at home! It looks fancy, easy to make and more importantly, tasty.

Our last pick for this week is from @tastyvacation with a gorgeous green salad paired with vegan fish sticks and ciabatta. Savory flavors of the sea, aka, fish sticks are best paired with salads because of the saltiness and crunch it has. It’s simple to make so if you’re looking for an easy dinner idea, here it is.

That’s it for this week. Be sure to visit us next week for a fresh batch of great vegan food photos to admire and be inspired by. Interested in showcasing your own vegan foods? Just add the hashtags #FoodFriday and #VacationingVegan on your future vegan food photos, and who knows, maybe they’ll be featured in a future blog!

We’ve got exciting vegan cruises and national park tours in store for you. Check out our VCC Adventures page for more information.
