Have you ever wondered why vegan dishes are becoming more popular? It’s the diversity and creativity. It takes a lot of talent and thinking to come up with amazingly tasty vegan food. It’s completely possible to enjoy some of the world’s best vegan dishes on a culinary cruise, or even at the comfort of your own home. Welcome to this week’s Food Friday!

This week, we’ve got a great collection of vegan food photos to show you, gathered from the galleries of Instagram’s dedicated vegan foodies. We’ve got eggs, cabbages and so much more for you to feast your eyes on.

Ready? Let’s dig right in!

Our first pick for this week is from @vegan.food.diet with this hearty bowl of Vegan Mee Rebus. This vibrant bowl is filled with ingredients that are just meant to be mixed together. Simple ingredients all poured into a bowl make a satisfying and tasty dish that emanates the essence of Southeast Asian culture.

Up next, we have a pasta dish by @rainbownourishments that will give you the ultimate Italian pasta experience. Baked Gnocchi with lentil bolognese sauce and creamy béchamel will give you the rich, creamy, savory flavors of the dish. The crisp and warmth of the dish is all you’ll need to have a fantastic Italian vegan dinner.

If you’ve missed runny egg yolks and toast for your morning breakfast, give this dish by @beardedveganchef a try! It may seem like a lot of work to create the perfect egg substitute, whites, yellow and all, but really it’s not that hard. It’s a fantastic way to create the perfect egg for every breakfast.

Next up, we have this unique cabbage dish by @cloakanddaggerbristol. Some people may think cabbage is a boring vegetable with almost no uniqueness. On the contrary, cabbage is the perfect canvas for a crisp, tangy and nutty BBQ dish. This is definitely a must try!

Our last pick for this week is from @veganbowls with this delectable plate of Banana Pancakes. Banana pancake is the easiest dessert to make and probably the best fruity comfort food to cook on the fly. It’s nice to see pancakes having other ingredients and aromatics being added to it, enhancing its flavor and color. Nothing beats a good pancake any time of the day.

That’s it for this week. Be sure to visit us next week for a fresh batch of great vegan food photos to admire and be inspired by. Interested in showcasing your own vegan foods? Just add the hashtags #FoodFriday and #VacationingVegan on your future vegan food photos, and who knows, maybe they’ll be featured in a future blog!
