Food is a tongue spoken by everyone on earth. The global language everyone understands and appreciates, especially when it comes to Vegan cuisine! Of course, it’s best to enjoy it aboard a vegan river cruise, but no one is stopping you from ravishing some home cooked vegan-full dishes. Welcome to this week’s Food Friday!

For our first pick this week, we have these lovely Strawberry Shortcake buns by @thebaklavalady. With Valentine’s day around the corner, this dessert is a good addition for your dinner dates. Creamy, nutty vegan, and strawberry topped cinnamon rolls are best shared with your loved ones.

 

Next up is a wonderful dessert treat by @stonegroundbymantra with these delicious chocolatey, peanut butter cookie cups! Warm cookie cups filled with peanut butter, chocolate, and roasted peanuts are the pinnacle of sweet treats. The delectable and warm dessert is a good finisher after your vegan meals.

 

For the next pick, we have a savory and filling tofu dish by @veganleonora. Tofu is probably the best protein substitute in the market at the moment. So take the chance with tofu, especially with this beautifully presented dish. The sweet and savory sticky sauce is the perfect complement to the blank canvas, which is tofu.

 

Up next we have a simple and tasty dessert dish by @veganmamamon. With only 3 ingredients you can make yourself a simple coconut bliss ball dessert. Everyone loves a simple dish, especially if it’s as tasty as this. Of course the toppings are totally optional, so if pistachio cream isn’t your fancy, drizzle some rich chocolate instead.

 

Our last pick for this week is a hearty Dal Curry dish by @twospoons.ca. Dal Palak is an iconic South Asian dish that will have you full in no time. This colorful combination of Dal, spinach, herbs and rice is a good and filling lunch treat you should try. The lime slices give it a fresh and zesty flavor that perfectly complements the whole dish.
