The new year is upon us, and we love to celebrate the occasion with delicious vegan dishes. There’s a lot to be excited for with every new year, and good food and good company can help you propel yourself forward this 2022. Welcome to this week’s FoodFriday blog.

This week, we’ve got a great collection of vegan cuisine photos to show you, gathered from the galleries of Instagram’s dedicated foodies. We’ve got cakes, pastas, and so much more for you to feast your eyes on.

Ready? Let’s dig right in!

Our first pick of the week belongs to @mr.rands, showcasing a delicious serving of vegan gnocchi. This Italian dumpling is packed with wonderful vegan ingredients, providing a delightful Italian food experience that’s wholly plant-based and wonderful. There are many kinds of dumpling in the world, with many different ways that you can prepare them.

Next up is @starch_by_jennifer with their awe-inspiring bowl of spicy penne pasta. Penne pasta is chewy and similar in shape to smaller manicottis, if you’ve ever eaten those. A spicy pasta is a great derivative of the usual pasta combos that we’re familiar with. We love how bright and enticing this spicy dish looks under the camera.

@funky.vegan presents their glamorous and exquisite roscon de reyes, a kind of Spanish pastry served on King’s Day in the country. This plant-based brioche looks stunning with all its textures, along with the way the light is caught in its golden surface. We’d love to savor a vegan roscon de reyes some day.

Do you feel like drinking some hot chocolate? Well, this spicy vegan hot chocolate service by @sarathesunshinegypsy looks really enticing! Although the spring months may be coming sooner rather than later, the cold season is still here. That’s why hot and spicy drinks like this will be quite splendid to savor.

Our final pick of the week belongs to @artrawcakes, with their wonderful serving of raw passion fruit cake. Passion fruit is an underrated fruit, a nutritious and fulfilling snack and vegan dessert ingredient. Its usage in a raw vegan recipe is amazing, because its natural flavors aren’t diluted in the preparation of the cake. That’s the beauty of raw vegan desserts.

That’s it for this week. Be sure to visit us next week for a fresh batch of great vegan food photos to admire and be inspired by. Interested in showcasing your own vegan foods?
