The world continues to spin around the sun, and every day we spend on this planet is a new opportunity to learn and become better. The new year is fast approaching, and we have big plans for the future, from culinary cruise expeditions to personal projects. Let’s celebrate the opportunities provided by new beginnings. Welcome to this week’s Food Friday blog!

This week, we’ve got a great collection of vegan food photos to show you, gathered from the galleries of Instagram’s dedicated foodies. We’ve got muffins, pastas, and so much more for you to feast your eyes on.

Ready? Let’s dig right in!

Our first pick of the week belongs to @chocosoymylk, presenting a delightful and delicious pair of vegan guacamole and red cabbage toast. Toast may seem like a common way to prepare bread, but it gets the job done. Flat loaf bread is a nice canvas to practice your culinary ambitions. Back on topic, we love the color combo of this vegan toast, especially with the light coming through the blinders.

Next up is @thehiddenveggies with their lively vegan jello shots. Jello shots are a funky and invigorating way to enjoy your drinks. With the chewy and cool texture of gelatin to smooth out the alcohol, a jello shot is most certainly a great drink to enjoy for the coming new year. The bright red color of the drink itself adds to its appeal.

Have you ever savored pappardelle? Well, @plantbasedpara’s great tomato and basil vegan pasta might encourage you to try it out! Pappardelle is a kind of wide and flat pasta, well-known in Tuscany. This variant of pasta is used in this sumptuous meal, which incorporates plant-based substitutes that give great texture and flavor to the dish. We love eating good pasta cuisine to celebrate the future.

@elavegan showcases a delightful set of vegan quesadillas, filled with chickpeas and full of gluten-free goodness. We love how well-done the flatbread is, the slight changes in color making it all the more appetizing. Meals like this encourage us to try our hand in making our own vegan food variants, meals that substitute animal products for healthier options.

Our final pick of the week is from @madewithveganlove, presenting a bright and vibrant serving of vegan gingerbread cupcakes. Made complete with a whole recipe list, this wondrous serving of plant-based sugary delight is a wonderful way to end any breakfast, lunch or dinner. Cupcakes are small and bite-sized, so they are easy to grab and enjoy. What kind of dessert would you like to savor for the new year?

That’s it for this week. Be sure to visit us next week for a fresh batch of great vegan food photos to admire and be inspired by. Interested in showcasing your own vegan cuisine creations?
