We all deserve to feel relaxed and inspired, but the way we do so can differ. Some people might enjoy playing music, while others find solace in gardening. For us, we enjoy collecting and using vegan recipes, crafting intricate vegan cuisine or vegan snacks with our free time. All of us have a different way of brightening up our days. Welcome to this week’s Food Friday blog.

This week, we’ve got exciting vegan food photos in store for you, gathered from the great galleries of Instagram’s dedicated foodies. We’ve got waffles, pasta and so much more for you to feast your eyes on.

Ready? Let’s dig right in!

Our first pick of the week belongs to @cronbinsonlife, presenting a bowl of delightful brown rice pasta, served with asparagus and flavored with mushrooms and tomatoes. We love it when the goodness of pasta is graced with the deliciousness of umami flavors like mushrooms. Coupled with the extra flavor brought about by black pepper and tempeh, this dish is a surefire hit.

Next up is @natalya_longevitylifestyle with a fresh batch of crispy sourdough waffles. We’ve eaten a lot of sourdough bread during the pandemic, so the idea of a waffle made from sourdough is quite appealing to us. The photo is even paired up with a nice list of ingredients, along with a short guide on how to prepare this meal. You too can enjoy such a treat.

@theconsciousplantkitchen presents a mouth-watering set of vegan jackfruit birria tacos. “Birria” refers to an intangible thing that has no value whatsoever, and is used to describe the stews where these kinds of tacos are served with. It’s quite an ironic name, because from the looks of these tasty tacos, the birria dish has a lot of value to people who want a wholesome plant-based Mexican food experience.

Ah, vegan cannoli, a craving that we didn’t know we had until we saw @heys_heavenlybakes’s photo of a nice set of tasty vegan desserts. From chocolate to vanilla, these cannoli servings look absolutely stunning. We can only imagine what it would be like to sink our teeth in such sweet desserts.

Our final pick of the week belongs to @happy.vegan_meals, presenting a simple but effective photo of a nice green lentil and tomato soup. A soup is a common meal that people enjoy all over the world, and vegan soups are especially noteworthy in how they’re both comfy and healthy. When it’s cold outside, we’d love to enjoy a bowl of this fine tomato and lentil soup.

That’s it for this week. Be sure to visit us next week for a fresh batch of vegan food photos to admire and be inspired by. Want to showcase your own tasty vegan dishes? Just add the hashtags #FoodFriday and #VacationingVegan on your future IG vegan food photos, and who knows, maybe you’ll be featured in a future blog!
