There are many ways to pass the time while waiting indoors. Making delicious vegan cuisine is one of them. When it’s safe to travel once more, we’ll gladly invite you to our planned vegan river cruises, but until then, we’ll just grace your screen with plant-based cuisine. Welcome to this week’s Food Friday blog.
This week, we’ve selected five more great vegan food photos from the wonderful foodies of Instagram. Their all-green delights inspire us to make our own vegan indoor dishes, from cool bowls to warm pizzas.
Let’s start this week’s selection with something sweet and colorful! @peterlimper presents this wonderful fruit smoothie bowl. We can spot blueberries, strawberries and kiwi adorning this delectable vegan dessert. This splash of color can brighten up any Friday evening.
Save your money on delivery and make your own homemade pizza! @plantbasedpipp has the right idea. Just look at that enticing vegan mozzarella! Reading from the tags, it seems that this pizza is spicy, too. Nothing like an all-vegan savory meal to give our taste buds a much-needed zap.
@jollylittlefox presents these jolly great red bean brownies. We’re loving the rich crimson color of the brownies, the outside light highlighting the healthy textures of these desserts. We adore sweet foods, especially those that provide health and nutrition from unconventional sources, like red beans.
@lemonsworthlovin presents their delectable salad, with a recipe to boot. Sometimes, “all-green cuisine” feels like a misnomer, as vegetables come in all hues and colors. Even as this delicious salad is mostly green, you can feel the effect of the orange carrot slices and dark olives on your visual gastronomic senses. Salads too, come in all shapes and hues, such as this great example of vegan cuisine.
Our Food Friday concludes with @nivek.kev’s mouth-watering quinoa breakfast bowl, prepared with blueberries. We just love a great breakfast treat, especially one that’s so elegant in its seeming simplicity. Filling meals can help you ward away feelings of uncertainty and stagnation, and we would love to serve this kind of meal to our own families at home.
That’s our Food Friday blog for this week. Be sure to check us out next week for another selection of great vegan food photos. Want to participate in our Food Fridays? Add the hashtags #FoodFriday and #VacationingVegan on your next IG food photo. You might get featured in a future blog.
We have a vegan culinary cruise along the Danube of Europe scheduled for New Year’s Eve. Check it out if you want a vegan getaway in the future.
