This week, we’ve got an exciting selection to show you, gathered from the galleries of the great folk of Instagram. We’ve got mountains, valleys, and so much more in store for you.

Our first pick of the week belongs to @book_of_brandon, showcasing a gorgeous wide shot of Yosemite Valley. There’s a sense of stillness and wonder to this image, and the faintest hint of the sunset reflected in the mountains in the background. From the distant cliffs to the mirrored creak, everything about this photo is magnificent, a testament to the natural beauty of the world in our own backyard.
Next up is @travels_world_ with a beautiful shot of the Cascada de Aguacero waterfall, shown here with great lighting that gives it an ethereal, almost magical quality. The biggest and most wonderful waterfalls spray water in a way that produces rainbows, scintillating colors borne of the sunlight touching the cascading streams. While there is no rainbow here, the sprawling water adds a magical quality to this place.
@danieljohnbenton presents this shot from the county of Troms, in Norway. Here we see the vastness of the white snow mountains towering over the houses and buildings below, little more than dots on a line near the blue waters. The majesty of nature is truly breathtaking, and shots like these remind us of the size and scope of the natural landmarks that surround us.
Spiti Valley looks amazing in this shot by @sub_astral_being. The air feels so crisp, allowing you to see all the details clearly and wonderfully. The shadows on the rocks provide a nice texture to the ground, while the water of the river looks bright and dynamic. It would be nice to go on a hiking trip through locales like this again.
Our final pick of the week belongs to @missmountainmist, showcasing a breathtaking autumn photograph in Winterthur, Switzerland. Here, the misty environment highlights the deep reds, oranges and greens of the trees, creating a sense of mystery and subdued majesty. When the leaves fall and the wind turns cold, the green parts of the world show off their beauty one last time before the winter comes.
