Keep your sense of wonder and adventure alive with our Food Friday blog! The new year is a new opportunity to create new experiences, foster positive memories, and of course, cook great vegan cuisine.

This week, we’ve got a great gallery of dishes just in store for you, a set of awesome vegan food photos by the dedicated foodies of Instagram. We’ve got cakes, pancakes, pasta and more in store for you this Friday.

Ready? Let’s go!

Our first pick of the week belongs to @alkalinecook with a stunning plate of rainbow veggie spring rolls. What better way to prepare for the coming spring than by making a tasty plant-based dish that celebrates all that is green and wholesome? With a ready to read recipe, this dish can also be something for you to eat at home.

Next up is @veganwith.aidan’s awesome roasted tomato pasta, made with herbs and mushrooms for that unforgettable umami flavor. Pasta is just so ubiquitous among IG’s dedicated vegan community, and with good reason. You’ve got plenty of pasta types to try out and use for your different vegan recipes, and these ones look great!

Have you tried vegan cassava cake? Well, trust us, they’re delicious! @paperfragment’s coconut milk-based cassava cakes look so enticing. Considering how tasty and underrated coconut milk is in dessert recipes, we’re sure that these bite-sized snacks pack quite a heaping of flavor in them, yum.

@impaag presents another tasty pasta dish, a plant-based Aglio E Olio. With this close-up shot of the vegan pasta in question, we can see clearly the heapings of flavor and texture that this dish has. The zucchini was a nice addition, providing a crunch to such a classic dish.

Our final pick of the week belongs to @spoonfoolofkindness, showcasing a stack of chocolate pancakes! Yes, with an exclamation point. These pancakes have a deep chocolatey texture to them that makes them look like a stack of cookies, and you bet that makes it even more delicious-looking! Pancakes don’t have to be made with egg, because plants can provide all the tasty sweetness of the dish with no problem.

That’s it for this week. Be sure to visit us next week for a fresh batch of vegan food photos to admire and be inspired by. Interested in showcasing your own tasty creations?
